The high school learning model is made up of four components, which are Character building, Technology, Project-Based Learning and Academic Development.
At SPARK High Schools, we provide a well-rounded education that aligns with South Africa’s national standards while offering much more. Our unique approach combines hands-on, project-based learning with cutting-edge technology and real-world skills.
Beyond academics, we are proud of our world-class character-building program designed to nurture resilience, empathy, and leadership.
Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), our scholars engage in meaningful projects that help them grow into confident, future-ready leaders who are equipped to make a positive impact on their communities and the world.

High schools partner with local industries to provide scholars with real-world experiences. FET Phase scholars spend two days a year in a workplace, such as a law firm, property sales, or product development.
SPARK's high school behaviour management system uses houses to build community, school spirit, and friendly competition, encouraging scholars to demonstrate core values that enhance academics.
Clubs cater to scholar interests, from coding to choir, encouraging collaboration, leadership, and independence.
The RCL upholds and promotes a scholar-driven culture at SPARK high schools.
SPARK high schools’ sixth core value is:
"I am a respectful scholar. I consider the rights and feelings of others."
